Bourque, along with some of his former Boston Bruins teammates as well as a number of NHL and Olympic greats will play on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH. Proceeds from this game will go to benefit the Celebrities for Charity Foundation.

This year Celebrities for Charity is teaming up with Sports for the World’s Children and Keep It Clean Sports in hosting an equipment drive. CFC is asking that all fans attending this year’s game bring in new and used sports equipment of any kind to donate to such a wonderful cause. Sports for the World’s Children will donate the new and used sports equipment to local organizations in need as well as organizations abroad.

The Celebrities for Charity Foundation assists a wide variety of charities in raising funds and awareness for their programs through the services and support of celebrities and professional athletes. Since its inception in 1997, Celebrities for Charity Foundation has provided assistance to the charitable endeavors of over 300 independent organizations.
