The Greatest Slow Jam Tour featuring Bloodstone, The Moments, and G.Q. will be making the only Orange County stop at The Grove of Anaheim. Bloodstone was a key group in creating the shift from the R&B and soul group concepts of the 50's and 60's to the funk and black rock ideas of the 70's and afterward. Their first five albums garnered seven top 20R&B singles, almost all of which made it to the pop Top 40. This heartland group had made a significant mark and can lay claim to being one of the first to figure out that era's future.

The Moments have been one of the most consistent R&B aggregations of the 1970's and has enjoyed a string of major hits through out the decade. Some of their major soul smash hits include “If I Didn't Care”, “All I Have”, and “Sexy Mama” The Trio remained strong through out the 1980's and still has a large fan following today. G.Q. effectively mixes the East Coast disco and Chicago soul covers in the late 1970's and early 1980's. They had two Top 10 R&B and Top 20 pop hits, as well as a number one R&B single in 1979 with “Disco Nights (Rock-Freak) peaking at #12.
