The Right to Bare Arms, recorded in Houston in January 2005, becomes his first solo effort to be originally released on a major label

Larry the Cable guy releases “The Right to Bare Arms” on Warner Brothers Nashville recorded live from the Right to Bare Arms Tour. The album includes all new laughs, including “Git-R-Done,” “Toddler Mail,” “NASCAR,” “Throwed Outta Penney’s,” and many many more.
Larry began his career like many comics on a dare at a local comedy club in West Palm Beach, FL in 1986. He was immediately hooked. In 1988, he quit his day job as the funniest bellhop at The Ramada and hit the road. It wasn’t long before he was wowing comedy club crowds with his high energy one liner style of stand up and soon made appearances on “Evening at The Improv” “Comic Strip Live”, Comedy Central, MTV and Showtime.
Larry currently stars in “Blue Collar TV” a sketch comedy series for The WB network which premiered on July 29, 2004. 5.4 million people watched the show and it was the second most watched show on television in that time period. The ensemble cast includes Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall from “Blue Collar Comedy Tour, The Movie.” The show came about due to the success of the film and the highly successful concert tour, which grossed more than 15 million dollars.
The movie premiered on Comedy Central and was the highest rated movie in the channel’s history and has sold 3 million units. Larry filmed the sequel “Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again,” this summer and the movie has sold more than 2 million units since its release on December 7, 2004. The movie had its world premiere on Comedy Central, February 13, 2005 It premiered on Comedy Central February 13, 2005 and was the 2nd most watched telecast ever leading the channel to its most watched day, weekend, and week in network history. The soundtrack was released on November 23, 2004 and debuted at number one on the Billboard Comedy Charts. He will also be the voice of one of the animated characters in an upcoming feature film “Cars” from Disney/Pixar.
His previous release “Lord, I Apologize” reached gold status, selling more than 500,000 copies. The CD was number one on the Billboard Comedy Charts for fourteen weeks in a row. Larry‘s DVD special “Git-R-Done,” has sold more than 1 million copies. The special aired on Comedy Central and gave the network their second biggest Sunday night ratings in the channel’s history.
