The University of Michigan hockey team begins its season at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 with the annual Blue-White instrasquad game at Yost Ice Arena. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and under.

Michigan students can get in for $5 with a valid M-card. Advance tickets will be sold online at www.mgoblue.com until noon on Sept. 30. Tickets are also available at the door.

Following the game, fans can meet and get autographs from players and coaches, and skate with the team. Skates are required and will be available for $1 at the arena's skate shop.

The Wolverines host the University of Toronto in their lone preseason game at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, and the regular season opens at home against Quinnipiac at 8 p.m. Oct. 7. Single-game tickets go on sale Wednesday. Source>>>
