November 8-13, 2005 at Metro
To commemorate their fifteen-year anniversary, the staff of Flower Booking will be taking over the Metro, running shows both day and night for an incredible eight shows in six days. The goal is to raise $50,000 or more for P.L.A.Y. to fund program expansion, bringing art and music classes to abused children in the Chicago area foster care system.
About P.L.A.Y.
P.L.A.Y. is an inventive arts and music program dedicated to encouraging creative expression in children and adolescents who have been victims of severe physical and sexual abuse. Through P.L.A.Y., participants experience – often for the first time in their young lives – what it is like to simply be a child and have fun, away from school, social workers and unstable foster care situations.
