It looks like Boncomania is back in Colorado!
Between a playoff game between the Patriots and the Broncos and even the C.C - Wisconsin hockey game, tickets for Colorado sporting events are at a premium.
Legally, they can not go for more than face value.Scalping in parts of Denver, including Invesco Field is illegal.
But if you were standing here, with an internet connection, using eBay to sell my tickets for three-times their value, you would not be breaking the law.
Just one look at internet auction sites, like eBay and Craigslist show Broncos playoff tickets selling for well more than face value... and that is not a crime.
Scalping over the internet is ahead of the law. There is no regulation.
You can sit on a sidewalk outside Invesco Field and auction your tickets on-line for whatever amount you want. Do that in person, you will risk getting arrested.
Colorado Springs does not have a scalping ordinance, meaning you can sell any tickets in person for any price. Source>>>
