The hit NBC reality show Last Comic Standing, the search for the funniest person in America just capped off its 4th season naming funnyman Josh Blue from St. Paul, MN as the Last Comic Standing. A gifted stand-up comedian and talented U.S. Paralympic soccer player, Josh Blue refuses to bow to any of the challenges that come from living with cerebral palsy. He jokes, "I realize that people are going to stare so I want to give them something to stare at." He uses his self-deprecating sense of humor to defy stereotypes and encourage others to overcome their pre-conceived notions about disabled people.
Sharing the stage with Blue will be Last Comic Standing finalists Roz, Chris Porter and runner-up Ty Barnett.
Originally from Chicago, Ty Barnett was the 2002 recipient of the Las Vegas Comedy Festivals "Up-and-coming Comedian of the Year." Barnett has entertained at Caesar's Palace, performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," performed with Chris Rock, and that's only a start to his extensive resume.
In addition to multiple comedy awards, Roz has been seen on numerous television programs ("Premium Blend"), in top comedy clubs (Laugh Factory) and has opened for several top comics (Jamie Foxx).
Chris Porter has performed on Comedy Central and in comedy clubs and colleges all over the country, drawing his material from "living life as a 27-year-old comedian who wakes up at noon and does whatever he wants."
