BURBANK, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/15/2005 -- It was announced today that Green Day had to regretfully postpone a performance scheduled for this evening at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, TN, due to illness of a band member.

DAYTON, Ohio -- Music fans were disappointed for the second time in a week with the cancellation of another concert in Dayton.

Fans were lined up waiting to get inside the Nutter Center on Sunday, when rock band Green Day announced it had to postpone the show because a band member was sick.

Officials at the Nutter Center asked that ticket-holders keep their tickets, while the band and the promoter work to reschedule the show.

Earlier this month, singer Marc Cohn canceled his performance at the Fraze Pavilion. He is recovering from a gunshot wound to the head during an attempted carjacking. Source>>>
