DENVER, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Organizers of the 2005 CENTRIX Financial Grand Prix of Denver presented by PacifiCare announced today that additional grandstand reserved seating has been released. Reserved seating includes both Saturday and Sunday admission. Premier reserved seating is $84 for a ticket to Saturday's and Sunday's events.
"Tickets sales are tracking at three times what they were at this time last year, and we expect to see a spike in ticket sales right up until the main event on Sunday," according to Jim Freudenberg, general manager of the Grand Prix of Denver.
Freudenberg cites improved accessibility and new amenities as the two biggest factors in the increase in sales over the 2004 event, which had more than 110,000 visitors over three days.
Fans will be able to follow the race from anywhere inside the circuit thanks to seven large screen video displays, including the largest trailer- mounted display -- which is 22 feet by 30 feet -- in North America. Across the top of each video display screen will be a race leader board so fans can easily follow the position of their favorite driver. More>>>
