There haven't been so many students camped out on the campus of MSU since the football tailgating rules were changed last year. One word sums it up- Izzone. I n front of Munn Field, more than a thousand students stak out to claim tickets to what they call the most-intimidating student section in college basketball.

The Spartan fans may be playing football,but it's basketball that's on there minds. They're among the 1,800 Michigan State men's basketball fans camping out to secure what some say are the best seats in college basketball.

Aaron King Izzone co-director: "W e have 1,500 seats in the lower bowl that everybody's trying to get to, we also have 2,500 in upper bowl as well."

Brian Fadie, Spartan fan: "I 'm just psyched for the Izzone, I'm really looking forward to getting lower bowl seats."

Alex Grabowski, Spartan fan: "I t's a lot of fun down there, so much better. I had upper bowl for 2 years, and getting down there is so much more fun, it's a good time."

So amazing, some of these fans have been out there since 7am. Organizers say, after the team success last year,the number of people camping out has tripled. More>>>
