CHICAGO, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The "Wicked Witch of the West" may be dead, but Broadway's #1 musical, Wicked, is alive and kicking! Celebrating its second year on Broadway, Wicked has held on to the top spot for theater tickets for 11 consecutive months, according to the November TicketsNow Entertainment Index.
In the concert category, three veteran rock acts are battling for the top
spot on the chart. U2 still holds on at #1, Bon Jovi follows close behind in
the #2 position, and the Rolling Stones remain at #3. The Piano Man entered the top 10 at #4, while Gwen Stefani hangs on to the #5 spot.
According to TicketsNow, the world's largest marketplace for premium event tickets, sports fans experienced a wave of football fever last month as the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, and San Diego Chargers accounted for four of the top five best-selling sporting events.
