2005 Festival Announcement: 2005 Smilefest Deerfields, Mills River, North Carolina

After celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2004, Smilefest is back to bring smiles to the faces of grassroots music lovers everywhere. Smilefest draws many of the scene's top touring bands each year.

In 2004, Smilefest hosted Steve Kimock Band, Galactic, Burning Spear, Keller Williams, the Derek Trucks Band, Umphrey's McGee, Tony Rice Unit, and Leftover Salmon, among many others. This year's lineup will be released next month.

This May 26-29th over 25 top-notch bands, over 20 vendors, an impressive Kid's Universe, an unmistakable community spirit will show why Smilefest has become a yearly destination for thousands of music lovers!

Deerfields is located 20 miles south of Asheville.
Smilefest's most beautiful setting to date features 940 acres of mountain heaven with camping, hiking, orchards and two lakeside stages.
