Vermont Brewers Festival :Waterfront Park in Burlington
"It's a great way to celebrate American Beer Month!" (Really, what more do we need to say?) With more breweries per capita than any other state in the Union, perhaps it's not surprising that Vermont is home to the longest running outdoor brewers festival in the East.
Between July 15 and 16, 2005, the Vermont Brewers Festival will descend upon Waterfront Park in Burlington with craft brews produced by carefully selected microbreweries and brewpubs in Vermont and the region. As the
festival's Web site proclaims: "We've increased our space...invited more breweries from all over the Northeast...and created a new class of service to better serve our growing number of devoted fans." Sounds pretty good to us.
You'll also find a list of invited brewers, information about tickets, and much more at the site. Surrounded by breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, the Vermont Brewers Festival is a must for lovers of beer, music, and gourmet food.
Special offerings include excellent educational programs with titles like "The Art of Tasting Beer" and "Secrets of Successful Homebrewing," as well as a "Cooking with Beer Demo" presented by the New England Culinary Institute. Musical performers for this tasty event have yet to be announced. In the meantime, how 'bout a private members-only tent, express check-in, exclusive brews, private tastings, and more? That would be VIP Service at the Vermont Brewers Festival 2005.
